We have a nursery setting at St Joseph’s offering 15 hours of free childcare. This is 3 hours each morning from 8.45-11.45, Monday – Friday. We can also offer places to Rising 3s in the term after the child’s 3rd birthday (subject to availability).
30 hours of free childcare is offered in partnership with Farlea Childcare, who operate out of our nursery classroom each afternoon. 15 hours is offered by St Joseph’s each morning with the additional 15 hours by Farlea Childcare.
Our nursery class is staffed by one qualified teacher and a senior nursery nurse.
Pupils are admitted to Nursery in the September following their third birthday.

There is no appeals process for Nursery admissions and the places will be allocated using our Nursery admissions criteria, which can be found below in the Nursery Admission Policy.
Parents who are considering sending their child or children to St Joseph’s Catholic Nursery can contact Helen Edge, the School Bursar, who will explain the admission arrangements.
Parents are encouraged to look round the school and talk to Mrs Karen Bennett the Headteacher, before coming to a decision; this can be arranged through the school.
