Our LITURGY LEADERS
2026-2027

At St Joseph's, we have a dedicated team of six Liturgy Leaders who play a vital role in the spiritual life of our school. Following the example of Jesus' disciples, they help to spread the Good News throughout our school community.
Our Liturgy Leaders support the development of faith across the school by helping younger pupils to plan and lead prayer and liturgy. They actively promote and model our Gospel values, encouraging others to live out these values in their daily lives.
In addition, they assist with Gospel assemblies, contribute to the review and development of prayer spaces around the school, and help maintain our Prayer Garden as a welcoming place for reflection and prayer. Through their leadership and service, they make a valuable contribution to nurturing the Catholic ethos of St Joseph's.
Laudato Si' for children
Care for our common home
Pope Francis has written a letter addressed to every person on the planet, asking us all to protect the earth. Will you play your part to protect our common home?
Our Eco team has been democratically elected pupils from each year group who help support the school and local community to reduce waste, encourage recycling and focus on saving resources such as water and electricity.
It is our response to Pope Francis' call to care for our common home and contributes towards our action in gaining the CAFOD Livesimply award which we are working towards.
