School Uniform

There are many views on the desirability or otherwise of the wearing of school uniform, but it is hoped that parents will co-operate as we feel there are a number of reasons that uniform is advantageous. The wearing of uniform will certainly cut out competitive dressing and the pupils wearing school uniform will gain a certain pride and sense of belonging to St. Joseph’s.

Our logo uniform is available from Crested Schoolwear, 67 High Green, Cannock WS11 1BN or A&J Designs, Apex Business Park, Unit 1, Walsall Road, Cannock, WS11 9PU.  All other items are available through general outlets and chain stores. 

Please note:
Please ensure that the grey is not charcoal grey.
Summer uniform runs from Easter – October half term.
We ask parents to send their child to school in sensible footwear, no trainers or heavy boots in the winter. No sandals in the summer.
Children may not wear jewellery or nail varnish/makeup to school.  Only studs may be worn with pierced ears. Please note that earrings cannot be worn for PE or Games and must be removed by your child prior to these activities. It may be easier for your child not to wear earrings to school on these days. No over-sized hair accessories such as JoJo bows. No smart watches. Long hair must be tied back. Dyed hair or shaved tramlines are not allowed.

Nursery Uniform

Nursery children are asked to wear the following:

Grey trousers/skirt

White polo shirt

Grey jumper/cardigan with logo

Red tie (Optional)

Suitable footwear (no open toed sandals)
